I'm looking into apping Joshua from The World Ends With You (I'm in the wrong journal 'cause I'm lazy). He is dead (presumably), but he's also conscious and lives in the main world, albeit on a different frequency. How might dreaming apply to him? Since he canonically can jump between worlds, maybe he could jump to passing whenever the hell he feels like it...? If you need me to elaborate more on game mechanics I can.
